Collaborative Business Intelligence Aspects

Collaborative business intelligence is an environment In which users can communicate and collaborate each other with ease, they are able to sharing information, ideas, and decision making in their communities.

Information retention

Each and every day, no one holds the millions of data items of intellectual property (telephone calls , conversations, and e-mails) in companies and organizations across the world. Using important collaborative software to institutionalize structured and unstructured data — which would otherwise be lost — can enable the sharing of thoughts, information, best practices, and insights.

The use of collaboration software can enable users to catch and capture intelligence from outside the data operational systems and warehouse and use this captured intelligence as part of the business intelligence solutions.

Information discovery

Through such collaboration, users can begin reusing existing ideas and/or capabilities, removing the need to reinvent the wheel — which happens quite oft when IT departments isolate a user’s experience into different reports. Using important collaboration software and business intelligence software together can increase information presented to users, enabling everyone to share insights they gain with another users in their community.

Information proliferation

Collaboration allows participants to share information, observations, and analytics in a community of interest with the aim of producing an action respond to a situation. This sharing can become infectious.

You probably arrived here after somewhere reference may be one of your colleagues directed you there. This pilotage is viral in nature. If people find one of the software sites which is easy to use, discuss, and gain support for, they definitely pass the word to others.

Such activities responds from user-to-user collaboration will drive the sharing of information across organizational boundaries — including observations, data and insights from clients; Industry and economic information, and psychographic information. In other way, your data warehouse will grow and become more virtual in environment because the conversations that happen will require much data from both outside and inside the limit of a one organization’s warehouse.
