That was indeed a wonderful session showing several interesting capabilities of what Spotfire can do. I have couple of questions though:
1. Is'the automation services'  a default component that get installed with Spotfire or do we need to purchase it separately?

2. Is the 'streaming analytics' part of Spotfire default installation or does it need to be purchased separately?

I have worked on Spotfire 6.5 and 7.0 versions and have been impressed with its capabilities. However the 'in-database' connectivity (as opposed to 'in-memory') has been a big let down. There are many limitations with 'in-database' connectivity which has been a big frustration for me as a Spotfire author. I just hope that they simply re-write the in-database connectivity from the scratch to support all the capabilities provided by 'in-memory' connectivity. Ideally as a Spotfire author, I need to be able to switch back to 'in-memory' or 'in-database' at will and be able to ensure that application works as expected without making a single change. Way to go Spotfire!
