Rika has 7 years of experience working as an analyst at organizations dedicated to expanding access to social services for vulnerable populations. After receiving her MPA from the NYU Wagner School of Public Service in 2013, Rika developed a passion for translating data, which may often seem uninspiring or dry, into systems and program changes that improve the work and quality of organizations. She is dedicated to using new technologies, statistical analysis, strategic management, and program evaluation to create practical policy and organizational solutions for some of today’s most serious issues including mass incarceration, the school-to-prison pipeline, access to services for immigrants, and the lack of adequate healthcare and housing for indigent individuals, non-citizens, and people with serious mental health needs.
