Hmm, but in any job, you might only use a small subset of those skills, or skills not in that list. And employers might hire only based on your competency on that small subset. Why should they care if you don't know Perl if they never use it. If they ever need you to use Perl, you could learn it quickly. I learn things when I need them, not before I need them.
