Responding to the growing need for business intelligence experts, the Department of Business Information and Analytics at the University of Denver partnered with the departments of marketing and statistics to offer both undergraduate and graduate degrees in this field.
Since information and analytics applies to all business functions–finance, accounting, marketing and management–our classes expose students to the full spectrum of business information and analytics, and the wide variety of career paths available to them. All courses include hands-on practice using the latest computer technology to solve complex statistical problems.
The program's faculty members are both dedicated teachers and widely published researchers. They are experts in bridging information systems and statistical principles and theories to practical applications. With small class sizes, teachers often become mentors advising on classes, internships and career direction.
The University of Denver prepared this first-of-its-kind degree with the departments of marketing, information technology and statistics to develop the first interdisciplinary master’s degree in business intelligence in the United States.
