Also, coming soon (March 2014), my data science book published by Wiley, full of new material. I have written 6.5 chapters out of 8 so far, and I will share the table of content in our next weekly digest. This 300+ pages book will be our reference book for our data science apprenticeship.

Great list, I'll be coming through it again in order to check through Amazon.
Don't know if it deserves to be on the list or not, but "Big Data: Understanding How Data Powers Big Business" provides a How To guide to help organizations understand how the insights gleaned from big data can power their key business processes and uncover monetization opportunities. The book provides pragmatic advice, techniques, methodologies, use cases, worksheets and even training materials to help organizations envision and prioritize their big data use cases.

Thanks for considering.
Nice list - I have about 25% of these now. Which do you recommend as "must haves" from your list? Maybe 3-5.
A few additions:
I recommend "KEEPING UP WITH THE QUANTS Your Guide to Understanding and Using Analytics" by Thomas H. Davenport
Can't wait for the book Vincent. You've done a yeoman's job with this site and I find myself scouring it constantly. Can't wait for the apprenticeship.
Really excited about your book Vincent, I've found your material on these topics to be extremely valuable and honest.
