McKinsey India estimates that the country needs at least 150,000 new data wizards to come to grips with Big Data. McKinsey Global estimated the US itself had a shortage of between 140,000 and 190,000 people with deep data analysis skills and another 1.5 million managers, which was hampering its Big Data projects.
