Visualisation, for sure has to be artistic to serve the purpose of attracting the audience. Then the analysis has to be scientific and provide detailed insight of the artistic visualisation. If the visuals are scientific they lose their intention of pleasing the audience. It is the retrieved meaning that is important in data analytics. The factual and scientific representation of facts is not for all but the data analysts and scientists, while the visualisation is for the ordinary dataconsumers as a spice. To me visuals have to impressive while the insights are derived from the application of strong analytical skills
