I am an Operations Research analyst with the U.S. Air Force Materiel Command Studies and Analyses Division (HQ AFMC/A9) and consider myself an analytics enthusiast who enjoys producing high quality, reproducible analytic approaches to real world problems. I believe in a methodical approach that provides fundamental understanding of the problem through the application of diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytic techniques.
I am currently in my final year as a PhD candidate at the Air Force Institute of Technology. I am in the Department of Operational Sciences and my degree focus is Logistics & Supply Chain Management with an emphasis on Cost Analytics.
My specialties are in the application of advanced analytics for the purpose of:
- Cost estimation & analysis
- Risk & sensitivity analysis
- Business case analyses
- Analysis of alternatives
I have also become a devoted student and admirer of the R programming language for statistical computing, data visualization, literate statistical programming via R Markdown, and interactive applications via Shiny.
