I am the President of Simulation Educators and a Certified Modeling and Simulation Professional (CMSP), #C00335. I am also an associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP), #00531. I served as US Army Officer in a variety of leadership and staff roles for 24 years and have worked in the Defense Industry for an addition five years. During that period I served as an Operations Research and Systems Analyst and as a modeling and simulation (M&S) subject matter expert. Notable assignments included serving as an Associate Professor of Operations Research at the Army Logistics Management College, and Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the United States Military Academy. I provided operations research, systems analysis, and M&S support to US Army Studies and Analysis, Test and Evaluation, Missile Defense Agency, and supported Operation Iraqi Freedom. In industry, I have been performing similar roles primarily in the area of Future Combat Systems, NASA Constellation Program (Ares I), and Ballistic Missile Defense System support including, operations research, systems analysis, software engineering support, development, test, and evaluation. In Missile Defense Agency (MDA), I have been involved in the architecture and requirements development for the digital simulation architecture (DSA) and the verification and validation activities for ground test and performance assessment events. I currently serve as the M&S architect for the Threat Modeling Center.
