Profile Information

Short Bio:
Ph.D.in Psychology. Interested in attention, distraction, and multisensory aspects of cognition. I use programming (e.g., Python & R) for, mainly, two purposes; building experiments and data analysis. For building experiments I use Python (e.g., the libraries/applications PsychoPy or Expyriment). Experiment, in the sense of Psychology, is a programmed task. For instance, a computerized task that see how well humans can switch between two tasks (e.g., task-sets). For conducting data analysis, both descriptive and inferential, I use R. Here I mainly use existing R-packages.

However, recently I have started looking at how to integerate Python more into my research. That is, I have started to learn how to analyze data using Python. I blog (https://www.marsja.se) about all those things mentioned but also at times more general Python/programming related stuff.
