After graduation in aeronautical engineering at the Politecnico di Torino and at the Imperial College in London, I worked as a software developer but soon I moved to Africa for a one-year job as a ground maintenance instructor in the Air Force.
Back in Italy I worked in a high pressure die-casting company as a process technologist. In two years I assumed the roles of maintenance engineering manager and production manager in the same company.
I left in 2000 to go back to my previous specialization: software.
