Always considered myself a real liberal arts geek (I read Orwell's "Animal Farm" when I was five, except I didn't comprehend the entire allegory, so I read it as a fairy tale and was scarred for life :) Didn't stop me from reading voraciaously all my life. Somehow I after all the acting, singing and English classes for which I am grateful, I ended up with a PhD in genetics with a pretty well rewired brain. I love the scientific method! Just accepted into a Masters of Public Health Program and have some very unique plans in the federal gov't for my career with the aid of that degree.
