I tell stories, paint pictures, and play with piles of data.
The days of improv, campaigns, and communication taught me how to weave elegantly simple stories and distill complexity into insights.
Fortunately, I soon realized that expansive sagas are hidden in 1's and 0's and that by translating those into visualizations, connecting the dots between silos and chapters, and developing a common language for business and IT, I could continue to tell stories that would captivate wider and wiser audiences.
Today, I get to pursue a lifelong passion and challenge my intellectual curiosity through hacking together data, discovering sub-plots, and predicting what's to come.
Intuition and opportunities are my prompts, data science and statistical modeling my writers, linear algebra, calculus, and statistics my editors, Tableau and R my illustrators, and business my audience.
From time to time, I write musings and ramblings to promote an interest in data analysis, business, and the art of storytelling.
