DSA Projects

This place is for participants in Dr. Granville's mentoring program (known as the Data Science Apprenticeship) to post their projects (including data and code) and answers to data science questions. It is public, to help participants benefit from comments offered by any member of our community.

For participants: please make sure you've read this notice and and new announcements published in the DSA group.

Participants currently accepted typically already have a knowledge of programming (Python, R, Hadoop, etc.), data analysis, processing data sets too big for Excel, and UNIX basics, acquired via university programs, business experience or other training. This experience (easy to acquire) is necessary to really succeed in our DSA. We will provide the basics to get you started (if you lack this experience) in our data science cheat sheet.

Participants are welcome to connect with each other, and even discuss projects. Nobody in real life still work secretly in his/her ivory tower. With this group, we also want to foster collaboration and a team spirit.
