So I always wondered, what is the future of data science? I just started my computer science degree (freshman year of college) to get into data science, which, there's a lot of programs available now for degrees in data. I'm dedicating my life to this mess. I want to know what the future is with data!! It is to my belief that later on, every movement we make and every feeling we feel, and ever thought that comes to our minds will be available as data, and I want to make it my life's goal to be a leading expert in the field of making objects that transmit data. I'm concentrating on health (like heart monitors and stuff), but I wonder if that's taking it too far or even not taking in enough.
What are you thinkin'?
A Data Science career is both lucrative and exciting. There are many paths to landing a career in data science, but for all intents and purposes, it is completely impossible to launch a career in the field without a college education. You will, at the very least, need a four-year bachelor’s degree. Keep in mind, however, that 73% of the professionals working in the industry have a graduate degree and 38% have a PhD. If your goal is an advanced leadership position, you will have to earn either a master’s degree or doctorate. This degree will give you the necessary skills to process and analyze a complex set of data and will involve lots of technical information related to statistics, computers, analysis techniques, and more. Most data science programs will also have a creative and analytical element, allowing you to make judgment decisions based on your findings. Do hard work. And All the very best.
