I keep seeing the term 'incidental homogeneity' referenced in articles about data analytics. This paper is frequently referenced, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4236847/. I've done a good deal of rummaging about and I just can'f find anything substantive about the IMPACT of incidental homogeneity on data analytics. I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on why something so frequently mentioned as a potential issue in large dimension data analysis appears to be so lightly analyzed.

Thanks

Joel
