Hi Andrew, yes I use Datawatch at work (work for a large bank). We evaluated a number of visualization products last year and choose Datawatch in the end. It is very powerful and easy to use. It is particularly good for tick data. Their support is very good too.

Yes, I used to work at Datawatch 17 years ago. They had a small presence here in Austalia with only two products - QSM Portal and Monarch. The later was a great 'data harvesting' tool. They are a lot more well known these days. Why do you ask?

Thanks for your insight. I'm an undergraduate student doing a research project on Datawatch, and I'm really hoping to hear from people that are familiar with Datawatch or their industry (self-service data preparation/visualization) in the last 12 months. You say they are a lot more well known these days, are you still keeping up with them?

16 years is a long time. Everyone I knew has left. The last person I spoke to is Seyha Nou who was there for over 16 years.

I've never heard of someone using Datawatch for its visualization feature—only ever heard it used for data extraction. Would you be able to direct message me? I'd like to learn more from you if you are able.
