Data scientist is a generic job-title (just like software engineer). For software-engineers over time one sees many specializations -- full-stack, front-end, distributed systems, solution architect, web-developer, ...
Question: Is there some resource that provides a good classification (specializations) along with skills/competencies for such data scientist roles. The specialization could also be based on industry, e.g. financial, consumer, business analytics, ... The context is that when one talks to a recruiter they are all looking for "data scientists" often with little context for what is exactly needed for success in the role.
Thanks in advance.
