Event Description

Next.ML is an annual conference on the latest machine learning research and open source software.  The program consists of hands-on workshops led by practitioners, open source contributors and researchers.

Unlike other machine learning conferences that serve mainly as a showcase for the work being done at research labs, the goal of Next.ML is to enable you to use the latest machine learning techniques the minute you leave the conference.

Workshop instructors include:

• Frédéric Bastien, University of Montreal.  Fred is the co-creator of Theano, the most popular deep learning package in Python.

• Soumith Chintala, Facebook.  Soumith is an ML/vision researcher and Torch7 guru (Torch7 is used by Google's Deepmind).

• Jonathan Dinu, Zipfian Academy.  Jonathan has encyclopedic knowledge of data science and machine learning and will lead a workshop in probabilistic programming related to Bayesian Item/Response

More information is available at next.ml.  Early registration is now open nextml.eventbrite.com.
