Event Description

Quality control charts are a common tool for monitoring manufacturing processes. But to use them effectively, we must understand the differences between various types of charts and their underlying assumptions. Also, Quality control charts can be used to monitor many kinds of process, not just those in manufacturing.
So, learning more about these charts may help you think of ways to use them that had never occurred to you before.
Join us for this FREE webcast, where Todd Ellingson (M.S. Statistics) will explore:
* various types of quality control charts,
* which charts are appropriate to which circumstances,
* configuring charts to generate different types of alarms, and
* other topics as time permits.
Presenter Todd Ellingson has spent eight years with StatSoft as a statistician and programmer. He has a bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science, and an M.S. in Statistics from Oregon State University.
