MAJ Jonathan D. Stallings, Ph.D., is currently a fellow at the Food & Drug Administration. He received his degree from Stony Brook University in Cellular and Molecular Pathology, and has an interest in understanding the molecular basis of disease and injury, particularly those unique to military operations. MAJ Stallings is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps and Certified Level III in Science and Technology (S&T) Management and Level I in Program Management.

• Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with expertise in basic and applied research, animal models, and advanced development. Eight years of experience in leading intramural research programs funded through the Military Operational Medicine Research Program, Defense Health Program, and Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Manage day-to-day operations in a research laboratory setting with up to fourteen scientists, routinely brief senior leaders, provide strategic and operational planning, conflict resolution, and staffing management.

• Proven ability to identify solutions to military problems, identify and successfully compete for and acquire new sources of funding, lead multidisciplinary teams, and collaborate within the DoD, Army, federal agencies, private industry, and academic institutions.

• Subject matter expertise in molecular and cellular biology, with significant experience in systems biology, systems toxicology, data mining, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling, Extensive experience with IRB, and IACUC.
