Short Bio

Danilo Di Stefano is a computational chemist and bioinformatician with over 10 years of experience in drug design simulation, modeling and optimization. He graduated in Physical Chemistry from the University of Padova, and completed a Master's programme in Bioinformatics at the University of Bologna. Danilo's background includes three years of experience as a Scientist at the Area Science Park (national research institution, Italy) in the design and implementation of data mining software tools based on machine learning techniques. He then joined Esteco, working as an internal data mining consultant, responsible for the development of the advanced data analysis module of the company's flagship product. He then led the company's Life Sciences initiative, identifying business needs and market opportunities. Danilo is currently in charge of business development for the Life Sciences applications, developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with companies in the sector.
