Similar to how the assembly line used technology to revolutionize the capacity to produce items on a larger scale, computing has done the same for data analysis, leading to the birth of data science.
The online MS in Data Analytics degree program at the CUNY School of Professional Studies invites you to learn more about the role of statistics in data science by attending their webinar on Monday, May 22 at 12:00 pm EST.
This webinar will explore the statistical roots of data science and how it plays a major role in the world of big data. Additionally, fundamental statistical models, their application in modern data science, and the use of statistics in drawing high-quality insights and data validation will be discussed. This content will be useful for those at all levels of statistics and math training, although no prior knowledge of statistics is needed to attend.
You can register for this webinar here.
