Is anybody aware of a large repository of open source ML algos?

I could have sworn that a while back on DSC, there was an article that pointed to a huge repository of ML algos somewhere. I seem to remember there being about 600 or so. I could have been wrong on the number.

I'm looking for this because I'm tired of the same ol same ol implementations. I want to see what the cutting edge is out there right now.

CRAN R project page has a fairly long list. It lists some of the cutting edge techniques, especially in ensemble learning. It does not include the 'cutting edge' of deep learning. It also excludes other pieces of the puzzle like univariate time series forecasting, image processing and computer vision, text mining, etc.
