Event Description
Almere positions itself as the data capital of The Netherlands. This afternoon seminar is free but by invitation only and will be organised by the programme Almere DataCapital. It will focus on big data analytics, beyond the big data hype: what is it and how can we profit from it. Special attention will be paid to big data in Healthcare, Research and Life Sciences.
Key notes from prof. Jacob de Vlieg (eScience Center) and Genalice, a high tech DNA analytics firm. Contributions include IBM, EMC Greenplum, Vancis (HPC and visualisation), SAS, Alan Turing Institute, BES LaSalle University and Oracle.
